Eric was an absolute lifesaver when it came to our puppy Huck! We had a lot of goals for him and we have successfully achieved the larger majority of them (training is a continuous practice of course).
Our dog Huck picked up all of the basics with Eric in no time due to his consistency and calming demeanor with dogs. Sit, Stay, Lay, Leave it, Loose leash walking...the list goes on. The real trouble we had with Huck was that he was so smart, opening doors, drawers, cabinets, etc. He always knew what we were asking of him, but was choosing not to listen unless he decided it was worth if for him (aka "where's my treat?"😅)
Eric quickly helped us diagnose a path to solution for this habit and put together an impulse control training program for Huck. We were able to work together with Eric to overcome these challenges with Huck and get to a point where he listens very well to us regardless. We are even comfortable and have been able to trust Huck in off-leash environments for playing frisbee/fetch in fields which is a new favorite pastime of his!

Two paws up and a five star rating! I was hesitant at first to hire a dog trainer but after the very first meet and greet, something I thought I wanted became something I knew I needed. Eric is patient, professional and truly goes the extra mile.
My American bulldog/pit bull mix went through training with Eric. My main concerns with my puppy was the jumping on others and pulling while on walks. Since she is a 55lb dog, it doesn’t take much for her to intimidate others who do not know her. She started out pulling me across the street if she saw another human or dog. I was embarrassed to take her on walks in my community and it made me shelter my dog quite a bit which led to other issues down the road. Now, I have confidence to walk her and have her around dogs, even little ones! His training not only taught her many commands, stopped the pulling on walks and jumping on people but it also gave me the confidence to trust my dog knowing she will listen to me on command. Eric is truly the best.
Eric has proven to be an absolutely wonderful trainer for our our German Shepard puppy, Lola. Since 7 weeks old, Eric has been training Lola AND my family. Our family has learned how to work as a team to train and communicating with Lola.
Eric is extremely knowledgeable, patient and communicative in guiding us on where we can continue to improve in marking and developing the desired behaviors with Lola.
